Senior Staff

Four principals, a senior structural engineer and two associates comprise the Schneider Structural Engineers senior staff. The experience of this collaborative team spans the spectrum from seismic designs, industrial clean rooms, LEED® certified facilities and “live-fire” training towers to schools, hospitals, resorts, office buildings, high-rise apartments, retail, hospitality, utilities and restorations.

Principals

Ronald H. Schneider, P.E., S.E., established this firm with a commitment to creative structural engineering solutions and client satisfaction. Today he is licensed in numerous jurisdictions nationwide. He holds a bachelor of science in architectural engineering from California Polytechnic State University. < read more >

William A. Dzurick, P.E., served as a U.S. Navy fire control technician, specializing in electronics. He later switched his focus to structural engineering and completed bachelor and master of science degrees at the University of Arizona. He is experienced in all aspects of structural engineering – from schematic design through construction administration. < read more >

Jeffrey S. Robertson, P.E., knows extreme environment challenges. Born and raised in the Arizona desert, he moved to Alaska to open the Anchorage office in 2003. He holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona. < read more >

Victor K. Pralle is the lead designer for the firm, creating precise structural construction documents on schedule using state-of-the-art technologies, including BIM. He attended both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona. < read more >

Senior Structural Engineer

James Lane, P.E., S.E., LEED® AP, began his career in the construction industry, then completed a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering at Kansas State University. With 22 years of experience as a structural engineer, he has worked for firms in Virginia, Kentucky and Texas before joining Schneider Structural Engineers in Arizona. He is licensed in 22 states.

Associates

Daniel M. Folmar, P.E., finds new ways to meet the environmental challenges of building in Alaska. Previously, he worked on retail, commercial, residential and education projects throughout the United States. He has a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. < read more >

David N. Gibbens, P.E., served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee, provided construction supervision, then switched to engineering and graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor of science in civil engineering. His experience includes masonry, wood and steel-frame buildings as well as cast-in-place concrete buildings. < read more >
